VIP Flight Attendant
Jet Aviation Staffing, on behalf of its client, seeks a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant to join a dynamic Part 91 Flight Department in Van Nuys, California. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional service to high-profile clientele, ensuring their safety and comfort while traveling to destinations worldwide. The successful candidate will be a crucial member of a highly valued cabin crew within a stable and reputable company.
Responsibilities:
The VIP Flight Attendant provides an exceptional level of personalized service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout each flight. Duties include:
- Greeting passengers and assisting with their personal belongings.
- Explaining the use of safety equipment with the highest level of food and beverage presentation.
- Directing and assisting passengers in emergency situations.
- Verifying the functionality of first aid kits and emergency equipment.
- Securing the cabin according to federal regulations before takeoff and landing.
- Administering basic first aid, including CPR and AED.
- Reassuring passengers during turbulence or other unusual situations.
- Assisting passengers during boarding and disembarking, attending to the needs of children, elderly, and disabled passengers.
- Conducting preflight briefings.
- Ensuring adequate supplies of food, beverages, blankets/bedding, reading material, and emergency equipment.
- Facilitating and managing VIP requests for food and beverages.
- Procuring specially requested items for passengers and stocking lockers on the ground.
- Preparing food and beverages for passengers and crew.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight segment.
- Ensuring the aircraft is consistently prepared for flight, cleaned, and stocked.
- Completing preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Conducting periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cleanliness.
- Operating audio and video systems.
- Operating cabin management systems and galley equipment.
- Operating all cabin features, including converting seats and divans into beds.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Current First Aid Training Certification.
- Flight attendant specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar accredited program is preferred; annual recurrent training is required. Candidates without formal training may be considered but must complete an initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment. Preference is given to candidates with training completed within the past 12 months.
