VIP Flight Attendant
Jet Aviation Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant to join a dynamic Part 91 Flight Department located in Van Nuys, California. This individual will provide an exceptional level of personalized service, ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of aircraft passengers during flight. The VIP Flight Attendant will be responsible for delivering a high level of client experience to the principal and other passengers. This role offers the opportunity to travel to destinations worldwide as part of a close-knit and highly valued team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional personal service to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
- Greet passengers and assist with their personal belongings.
- Explain the use of safety equipment and serve food and beverages with a high level of presentation.
- Direct and assist passengers in the event of an emergency.
- Verify the working order of first aid kits and other emergency equipment.
- Secure the cabin according to federal regulations prior to takeoff and landing.
- Administer basic first aid, including CPR and AED, to passengers in distress.
- Reassure passengers during situations such as turbulence.
- Assist passengers with entering and disembarking the aircraft, attending to those with special needs.
- Perform preflight briefings.
- Ensure adequate supplies of food, beverages, blankets/bedding, reading materials, and emergency equipment.
- Facilitate and manage VIP passenger requests for food and drinks.
- Procure requested items for passenger comfort and stock lockers.
- Prepare food and beverages for passengers and crew.
- Inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight.
- Ensure the aircraft is consistently prepared for flight.
- Complete preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Conduct regular cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cleanliness.
- Operate audio and video systems.
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- First Aid Training Certification.
- Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar preferred; annual recurrent training required. Candidates without formal training may be considered but must complete an initial flight attendant training course.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Technologically savvy.
- Flexibility and patience.
- Culinary skills and training preferred.
- Ability to manage a constantly changing schedule and late-night flights.
- Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide.
- Proficiency in operating Cabin Management Systems, galley equipment, and cabin features.
