VIP Flight Attendant

Jet Aviation Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant to join a dynamic Part 91 Flight Department based in the Los Angeles, California area (Van Nuys, CA). The VIP Flight Attendant provides exceptional personal service, ensuring the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers during flight. Responsibilities:

The VIP Flight Attendant will:

  • Provide an exceptional level of personal service to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
  • Greet passengers and assist with personal belongings.
  • Explain the use of safety equipment and serve food and beverages with the highest level of presentation.
  • Direct and assist passengers in the event of an emergency.
  • Verify the working order of first aid kits and emergency equipment.
  • Secure the cabin according to federal regulations before takeoff and landing.
  • Administer basic first aid, including CPR and AED, to passengers in distress.
  • Reassure passengers during turbulence or other unusual situations.
  • Assist passengers entering and disembarking the aircraft, attending to those with special needs.
  • Perform preflight briefings.
  • Ensure adequate supplies of food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, and emergency equipment are onboard.
  • Fulfill and manage VIP passenger requests for food and drinks.
  • Procure requested items for passengers and stock lockers on the ground.
  • Prepare food for passengers and crew.
  • Inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight leg.
  • Maintain the aircraft's readiness for flight, ensuring it is cleaned and stocked.
  • Complete preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
  • Conduct periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cleanliness.
  • Operate audio and video systems.
  • Operate all features of the Cabin Management Systems.
  • Operate all galley equipment.
  • Operate all cabin features, to include berthing seats and configuring the divan into a bed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
  • Thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Current First Aid Training Certification.
  • Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar program is preferred; annual recurrent training is required. Candidates without formal training may be considered but must complete an initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.

  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Technological proficiency.
  • Flexibility and patience.
  • Culinary skills and culinary-specific training are preferred.
  • Ability to manage a constantly changing schedule and late-night flights.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide.
  • Ability to operate all features of the Cabin Management Systems, galley equipment, and cabin features.
