VIP Flight Attendant - Van Nuys, CA
A prestigious Part 91 Flight Department, located in the Los Angeles, California area, seeks a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant for a full-time position. Responsibilities:
The VIP Flight Attendant delivers an exceptional level of personalized service to guarantee the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers during flight. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting passengers and assisting with their personal belongings.
- Explaining the use of safety equipment, and serving food and beverages with the highest level of presentation.
- Directing and assisting passengers in the event of an emergency.
- Verifying that first aid kits and other emergency equipment are in working order.
- Securing the cabin, adhering to federal regulations, prior to take-off and landing.
- Administering basic first aid to passengers in distress, including CPR, AED, and general first aid.
- Reassuring passengers during situations such as turbulence.
- Assisting passengers while entering or disembarking the aircraft and determining special assistance needs.
- Performing preflight briefings.
- Ensuring that food, beverages, blankets/bedding, reading material, emergency equipment, and other supplies are on board and adequately stocked.
- Facilitating and managing passengers' VIP requests for food and drinks.
- Shopping for specially requested items to be onboard for flights and stocking lockers on the ground.
- Preparing food for passengers and crew.
- Inspecting, cleaning, and stocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after every leg.
- Ensuring the aircraft is always prepared for flight.
- Completing preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Conducting periodic trips through the cabin to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cabin cleanliness.
- Operating audio and video systems.
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar accredited institution is preferred; annual recurrent training is required. Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered based on other qualifications but must attend an initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.

- Proficiency in the operation of all cabin features, including berthing seats and configuring the divan into a bed.
