VIP Flight Attendant - Van Nuys, CA
Jet Aviation Staffing, on behalf of its client, seeks a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant for a full-time position with a prestigious Part 91 Flight Department located in the Los Angeles, California area. This individual will provide exceptional, personalized service, ensuring the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers during flight, while traveling to destinations worldwide. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership abilities, exceptional client service skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional level of personal service to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
- Greet passengers and assist with their personal belongings.
- Explain the use of safety equipment and serve food and beverages with the highest level of presentation.
- Direct and assist passengers in emergency situations.
- Verify the functionality of first aid kits and emergency equipment.
- Secure the cabin according to federal regulations before takeoff and landing.
- Administer basic first aid, including CPR and AED.
- Reassure passengers during turbulence or other unusual situations.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, attending to those with special needs.
- Conduct preflight briefings.
- Ensure adequate supplies of food, beverages, blankets/bedding, reading material, and emergency equipment.
- Facilitate and manage VIP passenger requests for food and drinks.
- Shop for and stock specially requested items for passengers.
- Prepare food for passengers and crew.
- Inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight leg.
- Ensure the aircraft is consistently prepared for flight, maintaining cleanliness and supplies.
- Complete preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Conduct periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and cleanliness.
- Operate audio and video systems.
- Operate all features of the Cabin Management Systems.
- Operate all galley equipment.
- Operate all cabin features, including berthing seats and configuring the divan into a bed.
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar accredited program is preferred; annual recurrent training is required. Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered but must attend an initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.
