VIP Flight Attendant - Van Nuys, CA
Jet Aviation Staffing, on behalf of its client, seeks a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant to join a dynamic Part 91 flight department in the Los Angeles, California area. The successful candidate will provide exceptional service, ensuring the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers during flight while traveling to destinations worldwide. Responsibilities:
The VIP Flight Attendant delivers an exceptional level of personalized service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting passengers and assisting with their personal belongings.
- Explaining the use of safety equipment and serving food and beverages with a high level of presentation.
- Directing and assisting passengers in the event of an emergency.
- Verifying the functionality of first aid kits and emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers and oxygen bottles.
- Securing the cabin according to federal regulations prior to takeoff and landing.
- Administering basic first aid, including CPR and AED, to passengers in distress.
- Reassuring passengers during turbulence or other unusual situations.
- Assisting passengers entering or disembarking the aircraft, and attending to the special assistance needs of children, the elderly, or disabled passengers.
- Performing preflight briefings.
- Ensuring adequate supplies of food, beverages, blankets/bedding, reading material, and emergency equipment are onboard.
- Facilitating and managing passengers' VIP requests for food and drinks.
- Shopping for and stocking specially requested items.
- Preparing food for passengers and crew.
- Inspecting, cleaning, and stocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight leg.
- Maintaining the aircraft's readiness for flight, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking.
- Completing preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Conducting periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cleanliness.
- Operating audio and video systems.
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar program is preferred; annual recurrent training is required. Candidates without formal training may be considered but must complete an initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment. Preference is given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.
