Jet Aviation Staffing, on behalf of its client, seeks a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant to join a dynamic Part 91 Flight Department located in the Los Angeles, California area (Van Nuys). The successful candidate will provide an exceptional level of personalized service, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of aircraft passengers during flight. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional personal service to ensure passenger safety and comfort during flight.
- Greet passengers and assist with personal belongings.
- Explain the use of safety equipment and serve food and beverages with a high level of presentation.
- Direct and assist passengers in the event of an emergency.
- Verify the working order of first aid kits and other emergency equipment.
- Secure the cabin according to federal regulations before takeoff and landing.
- Administer basic first aid to passengers in distress (CPR, AED, First Aid).
- Reassure passengers during situations such as turbulence.
- Assist passengers when entering or leaving the aircraft and determine special assistance needs.
- Perform preflight briefings.
- Ensure adequate supplies of food, beverages, blankets/bedding, reading material, and emergency equipment are onboard.
- Facilitate and manage VIP passenger requests for food and drinks.
- Procure specially requested items for passengers and stock lockers on the ground.
- Prepare food for passengers and crew.
- Inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight segment.
- Ensure the aircraft is consistently prepared for flight, cleaned, and stocked.
- Complete preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Conduct periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cabin cleanliness.
- Operate audio and video systems.
- Operate all features of the Cabin Management Systems.
- Operate all galley equipment.
- Operate all cabin features, including berthing seats and configuring the divan into a bed.
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar provider is preferred; annual recurrent training is required. Candidates without formal training may be considered but must attend an initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.
