Job Overview
Jet Aviation Staffing is seeking a qualified Corporate Flight Attendant to join a team supporting prominent aviation companies. This role involves ensuring seamless journeys for clients by providing exceptional in-flight service and adhering to rigorous safety and operational standards. The position is onsite with a flexible work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties as assigned by the pilot-in-command.
- Provide direct and emergency assistance to passengers when necessary.
- Administer basic first aid, CPR, and use AED on passengers and other crew in distress.
- Conduct aircraft pre-flight procedures, ensuring all safety, galley, and cabin equipment are prepared for flight.
- Ensure passenger briefings meet or exceed FAA regulations.
- Follow company checklists for aircraft pre/post-flight procedures.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures outlined in the Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Standard Operating Procedures Manual (SOP), and all Corporate policy manuals.
- Deliver exceptional in-flight service.
- Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the aircraft cabin and storage bins.
- Manage galley stores and cabin supplies.
- Submit all required company paperwork, timesheets, and receipts in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Training
- Flight Attendant specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar institution is preferred.
- Candidates without formal Flight Attendant training will be considered based on other qualifications but must complete an initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.
Experience
- A high school diploma.
- A minimum of 1 year of previous Corporate Flight Attendant experience, or any experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant for an airline or commercial carrier.
Other Requirements and Preferences
- Ability to lift and move up to 62 pounds to perform tasks such as removing an emergency exit window, bringing passenger baggage into the aircraft via the baggage door, and launching a life raft in emergency situations.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while performing Flight Attendant duties.
- Capability to perform emergency evacuation procedures.
- Food Handling and Culinary Training is preferred.
- In-flight medical training (CPR/AED/BBP) preferred within the last 12 months.
- No restrictions on Passport, VISA, or overall health for worldwide travel.
- Willingness to work at the Flight Operations facility Monday through Friday, and as needed on weekends, night shifts, and holidays.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Technical proficiency capable of operating complex cabin systems.
- Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated by the start date, unless medical or religious exceptions apply.
- Must reside within a reasonable, commutable driving distance from the Flight Operations facility in Sterling, Virginia.
