Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout all phases of flight.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and productive work environment.
  • Manage cabin service duties, including the preparation and sale of in-flight beverages, meals, and snacks.
  • Greet passengers, assist with carry-on baggage, and deliver clear, professional onboard announcements.
  • Provide leadership and direction during emergency and non-emergency situations.
  • Resolve passenger conflicts and handle medical emergencies with composure.
  • Perform pre-flight inspections of cabin components and emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers, oxygen systems, and AEDs.
  • Maintain strict compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid U.S. or foreign passport (valid for at least 12 months) and necessary visas for travel in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills for safety reporting and passenger interaction.
  • Proficiency with electronic devices and portable electronic devices (PEDs) for operational and training tasks.
  • Availability to work varied shifts of up to 16 hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work independently.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
  • Must be willing to relocate to a company-assigned crew domicile upon successful completion of training. Current locations include: Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Boise, ID; Chicago, IL; Colorado Springs, CO; Dallas/Fort Worth, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Fresno, CA; Houston, TX; Los Angeles, CA; Milwaukee, WI; Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN; Palm Springs, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; San Diego, CA; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; and Tucson, AZ.

Physical and Appearance Requirements

  • Height must be between 5’0” and 6’0” (without shoes) to safely operate aircraft equipment and access jump seats.
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, reach, open/close aircraft doors (up to 45 lbs), and move beverage carts (up to 250 lbs).
  • Corrected vision no worse than 20/40; hearing range within 15-17kHZ.
  • Professional appearance required, including adherence to strict grooming standards regarding hair, tattoos, and piercings.
  • Must wear company-issued uniform and compliant face coverings.

Compensation and Training

  • Starting pay is $30.32 per flight hour.
  • Guaranteed 76 flight hours per month following successful completion of initial training.
  • Per diem allowance of $2.25 for every hour on duty away from the domicile.
