Candidates will be required to complete an audio assessment as part of the application process, estimated to take approximately 40 minutes.
The company adheres to a specific tattoo policy for this role: No visible tattoos on the face, front of the neck, or chest are permitted. A maximum of one tattoo, quarter-sized or smaller, is allowed per hand. Tattoos on other body areas cannot exceed the size of a credit card and must not be offensive. Employees may have one tattoo per arm, leg, foot, back of neck, and behind each ear. Tattoos on the back of the neck or behind the ears are only permissible if they are not visible when viewed directly. Tattoos may only be covered by uniform pieces or approved jewelry/watches; covering with makeup is not permitted.
Employment in roles at airports or maintenance hangars requires obtaining and maintaining a SIDA badge issued by the airport authority. Candidates must qualify for and maintain good standing for their SIDA badge. Failure to qualify for or loss of a SIDA badge will result in termination. The first-year step rate for this position is $20.66 per hour, as defined by the collective bargaining agreement. Further details regarding compensation are available in the latest collective bargaining agreement between Horizon Air and the AFA.
