Second in Command Pilot (Part 121 Operations)
Role Overview
The Second in Command (SIC) Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of passengers, mail, and freight for commercial purposes. This critical role encompasses all facets of flight operations, from meticulous pre-flight preparations and adherence to restrictions, to the safe conduct of the flight itself, and the completion of all post-flight duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Second in Command in Part 121 operations.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, including all required paperwork and review of flight restrictions.
- Ensure the safe conduct of all phases of flight.
- Execute all post-flight duties with precision and care.

Qualifications
Candidates must possess a minimum of 200 hours of FAA-approved Prior Qualifying Time, satisfying the requirements to serve as Pilot in Command in Part 121 operations as stipulated by FAR ยง 121.436(a)(3). Applicants are required to provide verifiable proof of this flight time. All prior qualifying time will undergo rigorous verification through pilot logbooks by the System Chief Pilot and/or the Director of Operations during the interview process.
