Airline Pilot
The Airline Pilot conducts assigned flights in strict accordance with the Company Operational Manual and all relevant Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations. The pilot ensures the paramount safety, security, and efficiency of all flights. He/She provides support and guidance to the flight and cabin crew, effectively manages emergencies and ad-hoc situations, and maintains control over the flight to guarantee successful operations and uphold a positive corporate image.
The Airline Pilot flies aircraft between destinations following approved flight plans and schedules. He/She is ultimately responsible for the aircraft during assigned flights, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort.
Experience, Qualifications, and Requirements:
- Minimum of 750 flying hours on the A320 Family aircraft. Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) preferred.
- Possession of valid licenses, a valid Class 1 medical certificate, and a valid Instrument Rating (IR).
- Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification, at or above Level 4.
- Appropriate Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or ATPL (preferred).
- Successful completion of technical, psychometric, and medical fitness assessments for pilots as per Company and CAA standards.
- Essential training in safety and emergency response; formal qualification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with basic airport security procedures and regulations is an advantage.
- Crew Resource Management training is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of IATA principles and standards relating to security is an advantage.
- Proficiency in aircraft systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and web search.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including technical report writing and presentation abilities.
- Experience with a low-cost airline is highly desirable but not mandatory.
