First Officer - A320 Family
The First Officer serves as a vital member of the flight crew, responsible for conducting assigned flights in strict adherence to the Company Operational Manual and relevant Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations. This role demands the highest standards of safety, security, and efficiency throughout all flight operations. The First Officer provides essential support and guidance to the flight and cabin crew, expertly manages emergencies and unforeseen scenarios, and collaborates closely with the Captain to ensure successful flight performance and uphold the corporate image.
The First Officer flies the aircraft according to scheduled routes and approved flight plans, acting as a crucial participant in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Key factors prioritized in this role, in order of importance, are Safety, Efficiency, and Passenger Comfort.
Required Experience, Qualifications, and Requirements:
- A minimum of 750 flying hours on A320 Family aircraft.
- A valid CPL/ATPL (ATPL preferred) License.
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Valid Instrument Rating (IR).
- Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification at Level 4 or above.
- The ability to pass technical, psychometric, and Medical Fitness check-up assessments for pilots in accordance with Company and CAA standards.
Essential and Advantageous Qualifications/Training:
- Training in safety and emergency response is essential; a formal qualification is advantageous.
- Basic Airport, security procedures, and regulations training is an advantage.
- Crew Resource Management (CRM) Training is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with IATA principles and standards relating to security is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Aircraft systems is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, and Web Search is necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, including technical report writing and presentations.
- Experience with a low-cost airline is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Flight Deck Crew Emoluments & Benefits - First Officer

Fixed Salary (PKR - Pakistan Rupees):
- 0-500 SIC hours: PKR 380,000/month
- 501-1500 SIC hours: PKR 803,000/month
- 1501-3000 SIC hours: PKR 868,000/month
- 3001-3750 SIC hours: PKR 1,090,000/month
- 3750+ SIC hours: PKR 1,534,000/month
Fixed Salary Components:
- Basic Salary: Ranging from PKR 70,000 to PKR 350,000 based on SIC hours.
- Fixed Flying Allowance: Ranging from PKR 45,500 to PKR 250,000 based on SIC hours.
- Housing Allowance: PKR 60,000 (0-500 SIC hours), PKR 150,000 (501+ SIC hours).
- Other Allowances: Ranging from PKR 2,500 to PKR 284,000 based on SIC hours.
- Conveyance Allowance: PKR 50,000 (0-500 SIC hours), PKR 70,000 (501+ SIC hours).
- Medical Allowance: Ranging from PKR 7,000 to PKR 35,000 based on SIC hours.
Variable Pay (per Credit Block Hour):
- 1–30 hrs: PKR 5,000/hr
- 31–60 hrs: PKR 8,500/hr
- 61–85 hrs: PKR 12,000/hr
- 86–100 hrs: PKR 14,000/hr
- 100+ hrs: PKR 16,000/hr
Additional Benefits:
- Transport: Provided for all flight duties.
- Guaranteed Flying Allowance: Paid for 73 block hours per month, conditional on fulfilling 100% of assigned hours. Proportional deductions apply for excess leave or non-availability.
- Duty Hour Pay: PKR 1,000 per actual duty hour (Sign-in to Sign-out).
- Credit Hours Calculation: Day flights paid at 1x block hour allowance; Night flights (1830–0629) paid at 1.3x block hour allowance.
- Off-Day Duty Compensation: PKR 10,000 for rostered off-day duty, in addition to the Flying Allowance.
- Onboard Meal: Free meal provided for operating crew.
- Gratuity: Equivalent to one month’s fixed gross salary (including Flying Allowance) for every 12 months of service.
- Boeing Ex-Factored Hours: Prior Boeing hours counted at 50% (maximum 1,500 hours) for salary determination when combined with Airbus (A320/321/330) hours.
- Settling Allowance: Discretionary relocation support of PKR 100,000 per month, subject to annual review.
- Seniority Allowance: Starts at PKR 50,000 per month for First Officers, increasing annually up to a cap of PKR 150,000.
- Command Upgrade Allowance: Discretionary PKR 250,000 per month for Captains meeting required flying hours (3,500+ A320F), proficiency checks, and training requirements.
- Insurance Deduction: PKR 5,000 per month.
- Fuel Card: Provided to A320 pilots with over 500 hours, capped at PKR 30,000 per month.
- SIM Card: Provided to A320 pilots with over 500 hours, capped at PKR 5,000 per month (excess deducted).
