First Officer
A First Officer is required to conduct assigned flights in strict accordance with the Company Operational Manual and all relevant Civil Aviation Authority regulations. The First Officer is responsible for ensuring the utmost safety, security, and efficiency of all flights. This individual will support and guide the flight and cabin crew, effectively manage emergencies and unforeseen situations, and maintain control of the flight to guarantee successful operations and a positive corporate image. The First Officer will operate aircraft between destinations according to schedules and approved flight plans, acting as the ultimate authority for the aircraft during assigned flights, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort.
Experience, Qualifications, and Requirements:
- A minimum of 750 flying hours on the A320 family of aircraft is required; an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is preferred.
- Must possess valid licenses, a valid Class 1 medical certificate, and a valid Instrument Rating (IR).
- A valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification at level 4 or above is mandatory.
- A Commercial Pilot License (CPL) is required; an ATPL is preferred.
- The candidate must successfully complete technical, psychometric, and medical assessments for pilots as per Company and CAA standards.
- Training in safety and emergency response is essential; a formal qualification is advantageous.
- Basic training in airport security procedures and regulations is beneficial.
- Crew Resource Management training is considered advantageous.
- Familiarity with IATA principles and standards relating to security is desirable.
- The applicant must demonstrate proficiency in aircraft systems, Microsoft Office, internet usage, and web search.
- The candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to produce technical reports and presentations.
- Experience with low-cost airlines is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Flight Deck Crew Emoluments – First Officer
This position is offered under an undetermined period contract. Compensation will be determined based on the following salary structure:
Fixed Salary:

- 0-500 SIC hours: PKR 380,000/month
- 501-1500 SIC hours: PKR 803,000/month
- 1501-3000 SIC hours: PKR 868,000/month
- 3001-3750 SIC hours: PKR 1,090,000/month
- 3750+ SIC hours: PKR 1,534,000/month
- Salary Breakup Details:
- Basic Salary: PKR 70,000 (0-500 SIC hours), PKR 150,000 (501-1500 SIC hours), PKR 200,000 (1501-3000 SIC hours), PKR 250,000 (3001-3750 SIC hours) and PKR 350,000 (3750+ SIC hours).
- Fixed Flying Allowance: PKR 45,500 (0-500 SIC hours), PKR 200,000 (501+ SIC hours), PKR 200,000 (1501-3000 SIC hours), PKR 250,000 (3001-3750 SIC hours) and PKR 250,000 (3750+ SIC hours).
- Housing Allowance: PKR 60,000 (0-500 SIC hours), PKR 150,000 (501+ SIC hours)
- Other Allowances: PKR 2,500 (0-500 SIC hours), PKR 73,000 (501+ SIC hours), PKR 83,000 (1501-3000 SIC hours), PKR 200,000 (3001-3750 SIC hours) and PKR 284,000 (3750+ SIC hours).
- Conveyance Allowance: PKR 50,000 (0-500 SIC hours), PKR 70,000 (501+ SIC hours).
- Medical Allowance: PKR 7,000 (0-500 SIC hours), PKR 15,000 (501+ SIC hours), PKR 20,000 (1501-3000 SIC hours), PKR 25,000 (3001-3750 SIC hours) and PKR 35,000 (3750+ SIC hours).
- Settling Allowance: PKR 100,000/month (discretionary).
- Seniority Allowance: PKR 50,000/month (discretionary).

Additional Benefits and Allowances:
- Boeing Ex-Factored Hours: Prior Boeing hours are counted at 50% (maximum of 1,500 hours) for salary determination, combined with Airbus (A320/321/330) hours.
- Settling Allowance: PKR 100,000/month as relocation support, discretionary and subject to annual review.
- Seniority Allowance: Starts at PKR 50,000/month for First Officers, increasing annually up to a cap of PKR 150,000.
- Command Upgrade: PKR 250,000/month for Captains upon meeting A320F flying hours (3,500+), proficiency checks, and training requirements.
- Insurance Deduction: PKR 5,000/month.
- Fuel Card: Provided to A320 pilots with 500+ hours, capped at PKR 30,000/month.
- SIM Card: Provided to A320 pilots with 500+ hours, capped at PKR 5,000/month (excess will be deducted).
Flying Variable Pay (per Credit Block Hour):
- 1–30 hrs: PKR 5,000/hr
- 31–60 hrs: PKR 8,500/hr
- 61–85 hrs: PKR 12,000/hr
- 86–100 hrs: PKR 14,000/hr
- 100+ hrs: PKR 16,000/hr
Additional Compensation Details:
- Flying Allowance: Guaranteed pay for 73 block hours/month, contingent upon fulfilling 100% of assigned hours. Proportional deductions are applied for excess leave or unavailability.
- Duty Hour Pay: PKR 1,000 per actual duty hour (sign-in to sign-out).
- Credit Hours:
- Day flights: Paid at 1x block hour allowance.
- Night flights (1830–0629): Paid at 1.3x block hour allowance.
- Off-Day Duty: PKR 10,000 compensation for rostered off-day duty, in addition to the Flying Allowance.
- Onboard Meal: A free meal is provided for operating crew.
- Gratuity: One month’s fixed gross salary (including Flying Allowance) for every 12 months of service.
