Minimum Requirements for Application
Category 1: Type Rated Captain (B737)
Prospective candidates for the Type Rated Captain position must meet the following criteria:
- Current endorsement on B737 300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) aircraft within the preceding 24 months.
- A minimum of 5,000 hours of total flying time.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours in command of multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft exceeding 10 tonnes operating weight.
- A minimum of 1,000 hours in command specifically on B737 300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft.
Category 2: Non-Type Rated Captain
Candidates without a current B737 type rating may be considered if they satisfy one of the following two requirements:

A minimum of 5,000 hours of total flying time AND a minimum of 1,500 hours in command on a modern (EFIS), multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft with an operating weight exceeding 55 tonnes (e.g., Airbus A318 or larger).

A minimum of 6,000 hours of total flying time AND a minimum of 1,500 hours in command on a modern (EFIS), multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft with an operating weight exceeding 50 tonnes (e.g., Embraer EMB 190/195 or similar).
Compensation and Benefits Package
Salary and Allowances
The successful applicant will receive a comprehensive remuneration package:
- Fixed Monthly Pay: AED 48,485 (Comprising Basic Salary, Housing Allowance, and Transportation Allowance).
- Variable Flying Pay: An average monthly payment of AED 16,310 (Based on an average of 70 flying hours).
