Candidate Requirements
Prospective candidates for this distinguished role must demonstrate a strong commitment to aviation safety and operational excellence, meeting the following stringent criteria:
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 2500 hours total flying time.
- At least 1500 hours accrued on multi-crew, glass cockpit, or high-performance military jet aircraft.
- A minimum of 500 hours experience on the A320 Family aircraft.
- Recent operational experience, having flown any Airbus Fly-By-Wire (FBW) aircraft within the last 12 months.
- A valid A320 type rating, which must remain current for a minimum of two months at the anticipated date of joining.
- Possession of a current and unrestricted ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). Frozen ATPLs are not accepted unless held by a citizen of the UAE.
- Current operational status on the A320 aircraft type.
- A valid, unrestricted Class 1 medical certificate.
- Candidates must be a maximum age of 50 years at the time of application.
- Demonstrated English Language Fluency (written and verbal) at ICAO Level 4 or higher.
- For flight hours accumulated with in-flight relief, 75% of the total hours will be considered towards the required minimums.
