An airline is seeking a qualified Pilot to conduct assigned flights in accordance with operational manuals and civil aviation regulations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the utmost safety, security, and efficiency of all flights, while providing support and guidance to flight and cabin crew, and effectively managing emergencies and ad-hoc scenarios.
About the Role
The Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned aircraft, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and airline operational procedures. Key responsibilities include flight planning, crew briefing, liaising with dispatch and maintenance teams, fuel management, and ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date. The role also requires staying current with regulatory requirements and may involve undertaking additional ground-based tasks.
Requirements

Minimum of 4000 flying hours

Experience on Airbus 320 is preferred

Experience with low-cost airlines is highly desirable

Possesses acceptable industry knowledge in aircraft systems and operating procedures

Knowledge and exposure to handle security or safety-related roles as required by the Airline and respective civil aviation authority regulations

Exposure to QA/Safety/Security/Audit procedures and practices related to Flight Operations

Capability to implement policies, procedures, and manuals as per approved standards and regulations

Ability to perform in a changing environment with heavy work-load schedules and ad-hoc scenarios

Composed, self-confident, and focused, capable of handling emergencies and threats efficiently

Proven skills in analyzing data, identifying pitfalls, and recommending cost-effective solutions

Qualifications

Appropriate ATPL License is mandatory

Must pass technical/psychometric assessments for Pilots

Must pass Medical Fitness check-ups for Pilots

Training in safety and emergency response is essential; a formal qualification is an advantage

Basic Airport, security procedures, and regulations training is an advantage

Crew Resource Management Training is considered an advantage

IATA principles and standards relating to security is an advantage

Proficient in Aircraft systems

Very good written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing and presentations
