Airlines seeks a skilled and experienced Pilot to join their team, operating flights and ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, and efficiency. This role is based at an unspecified location.
About the Role
The Pilot is responsible for conducting assigned flights in strict accordance with the Airline Operational Manual and relevant civil aviation authority regulations. This position ensures ultimate safety, security, and efficiency throughout all flights, providing support and guidance to flight and cabin crew, effectively handling emergencies and ad-hoc scenarios, and maintaining the company's positive corporate image.
Key Responsibilities

Operate assigned aircraft from destination to destination, adhering to schedules and approved flight plans.

Act as the ultimate responsible party for the aircraft during flights, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort.

Ensure all flights are conducted in accordance with the Airline's Operations Manual and applicable regulations, maintaining safe and smooth aircraft operations.

Ensure timely attendance, proper grooming, and fitness for duty for all assigned flights.

Conduct pre-flight briefings with flight crew to ensure awareness of flight details.

Liaise with co-pilots and the Dispatch Team to ensure flight and cabin crew are prepared and informed regarding aircraft status, route details, weather, fuel, weight, and role distribution.

Maximize fuel efficiency during flights within safety constraints outlined in the Operations Manual.

Oversee required safety, security, fuel, and transit checks performed by flight and cabin crew.

Cooperate with Maintenance Engineers to confirm aircraft technical status and suitability for flight.

Ensure all necessary documents and technical logs are accurately completed and maintained.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements from regulatory bodies, including civil aviation authorities and aircraft manufacturers.

Undertake additional ground-based tasks, such as Safety Officer or Security Officer, as directed.
Qualifications

Appropriate ATPL License is mandatory.

Successful completion of the Airline's technical/psychometric assessment for Pilots.

Successful completion of the Airline's Medical Fitness check-up for Pilots.

Formal qualification in safety and emergency response is advantageous.

Basic training in Airport, security procedures, and regulations is advantageous.

Crew Resource Management Training is considered an advantage.

Familiarity with IATA principles and standards relating to security is advantageous.

Proficiency in aircraft systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing and presentations.

High proficiency in English; proficiency in local languages is advantageous.
Work Experience

Minimum of 4000 hours of flying experience.

Experience on the Airbus A320 is preferred.

Experience with low-cost airlines is highly desirable.

Possession of acceptable industry knowledge in aircraft systems and operating procedures.

Demonstrated knowledge and exposure to handling delegated roles, including security or safety-related tasks.

Exposure to QA/Safety/Security/Audit procedures and practices relevant to flight operations.

Capability to implement policies, procedures, and manuals according to approved standards and regulations.

Ability to perform effectively in a changing environment with heavy workloads and ad-hoc scenarios.
