Your Mission as a Flight Instructor
The Flight Instructor plays a vital role in delivering exceptional ground and simulator flight instruction to a diverse clientele. Working within the framework of aviation regulations and adhering to FlightSafety's renowned training principles, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting engaging and effective ground and simulator training sessions for clients enrolled in core, specialty, or enrichment courses.
- Developing and refining training materials that align with applicable curriculum and meet the specific needs of each client.
- Evaluating trainee progress meticulously, providing constructive feedback, and recommending qualification or additional training as needed.
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive training records for each client, contributing to their successful achievement of learning objectives.
- Proactively identifying potential training challenges and collaborating with colleagues to implement effective solutions.
- Maintaining your Instructor qualifications in accordance with regulatory requirements, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Qualifications for Success
- Possession of an unrestricted ATP certificate or an equivalent ICAO member state Airline Transport Pilot License is required.
- Candidates without an ATP certificate must fulfill the requirements outlined in 14 CFR part 61.153 and 14 CFR part 61.64, excluding the Supervised Operating Experience (SOE) limitation.
- At least one unrestricted PIC type rating is mandatory.
- Experience in FAR Part 135, FAR Part 121, or military training environments is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 2,500 hours of total flight time is preferred.
- A strong understanding of aviation safety standards and practices, coupled with a comprehensive knowledge of common aviation regulations, is essential.
- Proven ability to effectively manage classes, deliver engaging instruction, and facilitate dynamic learning experiences.
- Excellent customer service skills and a dedication to providing a positive and supportive learning environment for all trainees.
- A receptive and coachable attitude, embracing feedback as a valuable tool for continuous improvement.
Compensation and Benefits
