This is an exciting period to join Envoy Air. Professional Simulator Instructors are now eligible for a $15,000 training bonus, disbursed upon successful completion of training.

Role and Responsibilities

The Professional Simulator Instructor is an integral part of Envoy’s Air Operations Training Department. This position is responsible for the execution of pilot Integrated Procedures Training, encompassing Advanced Simulator Training for Part 121 air carrier pilots undergoing Initial, Transition, Upgrade, and Recurrent training courses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering standardized pilot training in accordance with the Advanced Qualification Program.
  • Adhering to Instructor Lesson Plans to ensure students are adequately prepared for aircraft certification.
  • Assessing student progress and performance.
  • Compiling and submitting post-training documents and reports.
  • Maintaining instructor standardization.
  • Serving as a vital contributor to the specialized training of the pilot team, in a non-seniority list pilot capacity.

Work assignments will involve approximately 20-30% travel, with per diem and meal expenses provided when away from the home base. This management-level position is a non-seniority list pilot role and does not involve flying company aircraft.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, thrive in a team-oriented environment, and demonstrate the ability to effectively prioritize tasks to meet competing deadlines.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Minimum age: 21 years.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A current Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) on a turbojet aircraft.
  • Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with 10 days off per month.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous experience with the EMB 175 aircraft.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Prior instructor experience.

Upon hire, candidates must successfully fulfill the requirements of the Instructor Flightdeck Observations Program.
