Core Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safety, security, and comfort of passengers while upholding Envoy Air’s professional standards. Key duties include:

Greeting, directing, and assisting passengers throughout the travel process.

Providing public announcements and clear, calm instructions during operational changes or emergencies.

Ensuring full passenger compliance with safety requirements and federal regulations.

Managing cabin emergencies and leading passenger evacuations if necessary.

Supporting passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors.

Diffusing challenging situations involving disorderly or irate individuals.

Administering first aid and assisting ill or incapacitated passengers in accordance with regulations.

Working effectively within the confined spaces of aircraft aisles and galleys.

Adapting to variable work environments, including changing flight schedules and weather conditions.

Contributing to on-time departures and arrivals.
Qualifications and Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Possess a High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Height must be between 5’0 and 6'0 (measured without shoes).

Must be physically able to fit into a jump seat harness and seat belt without modification.

Must possess a valid passport and the legal right to travel unrestricted to and from all countries served by Envoy.

Must meet all requirements to enter and exit Canada, including no criminal history within the previous five (5) years.

Possess the legal right to work in the United States.

Ability to read, write, and fluently speak English.

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and trips lasting up to four consecutive overnights.

Ability to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, twisting, and lifting equipment or doors of various weights.

Must maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance in accordance with company uniform standards.

Must have access to reliable high-speed internet and a device capable of downloading the Microsoft Office Suite.

Proficiency in MS Teams and general internet navigation.
Preferred Skills
-
One (1) year of experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or retail industries.

Prior experience in roles requiring extensive face-to-face public contact.

College degree.
Additional Employment Details

Appearance Standards:
Visible tattoos or body art are prohibited while in uniform or during company training. Body piercings are limited to single ear piercings; no other facial, tongue, or nose jewelry may be visible. Extreme hair or nail colors/styles are prohibited.

Training and Relocation:
Candidates must be willing to attend training in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (portions of which are unpaid). Following training, employees must be able to relocate immediately to an assigned crew base (Chicago, IL; Dallas/Fort Worth, TX; Miami, FL; or New York, NY) without reimbursement.

Background and Compliance:
Employment is subject to FAA criminal background checks for security identification display area (SIDA) access, as well as DOT drug and alcohol history verification. All government-issued identification must match the name on the passport.

Compensation:
Wages are governed by the contract between Envoy and the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA).
