Overview & Key Responsibilities:

This is a Part Time Position offered through Delta Professional Services, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, Inc.

Senior, New Hire Pilot Interviewer – This position will serve as part of the Delta Professional Services –Flight Operations Support retired component of the Delta Air Lines pilot hiring interview team. Workload is dependent upon the level of New Hire Pilot Interviews. There is no guaranteed minimum level of work, stated or implied.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Completes initial and annual recurrent interview training, provided by Pilot Selection.

+ Reviews logbooks of candidate.

+ Reviews application of candidate.

+ Asks established interview questions, provided by Pilot Selection, to pilot candidates in order to determine if candidate would be a good fit for Delta Air Lines and will adhere to company core values.

Term Limit:

+ Retired Pilot Interviewers will serve a maximum of two years in this role.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

+ In order to apply you must not have exceeded 2 years in retirement.

+ Previous experience as a Delta Seniority List Pilot is required.

+ Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

+ Able to participate in pilot interviews, at the Delta General Offices in Atlanta, for prospective Delta Air Lines pilots.

+ Applicant should be familiar with technology required for the job including, but not limited to:

+ Establishing internet or cell data connections to access company information and schedules.

+ Use of email and other tools dedicated to their duties as interviewers.

+ Use of Word and Excel is preferred.

+ Ability to work in a team environment.

+ This position will require successful applicants to sign a non-disclosure statement as Delta’s hiring criteria is confidential.

+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

+ Former Line Check Airman, Management Pilot, or Chief Pilot experience.

+ Former experience as a Pilot Interviewer for Delta Air Lines
