Position Overview
The Pictsweet Company is seeking an experienced Corporate Aviation Captain to join the flight department based in Jackson, Tennessee. This role offers a unique opportunity for aviation professionals to prioritize work-life balance while operating as part of a two-pilot team. The successful candidate will maintain responsibility for the safe operation of the company’s Cessna Citation 650 aircraft.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain a culture of safety and efficient procedures in support of customer service within the Pictsweet Aviation Department.

Exercise final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft when assigned as Pilot in Command (PIC).

Ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft prior to each flight.

Oversee flight crew duties and provide clear expectations for operational performance.

Make critical decisions regarding flight status (start, delay, divert, or cancel) and communicate updates to the Aviation Manager, Chief Pilot, Scheduler, and Lead Passenger.

Develop and supervise flight plans, evaluating altitude, terrain, weather, weight, cruise data, and airport facilities.

Manage aircraft operations while away from the home base.

Ensure full compliance with all federal and state regulations, as well as internal company policies.

Report any known or suspected FAA violations or incidents to the Chief Pilot.

Coordinate necessary passenger ground handling and transportation.

Complete all required trip paperwork and perform aircraft fueling at the home base.

Execute collateral duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Commitment to an alcohol-free and tobacco-free lifestyle.

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license with multi-engine land rating.

Minimum of 4,000 hours total flight time.

Minimum of 1,000 hours multi-engine turbine flight time.

Restricted Radio Telephone Operator Permit.

Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
