Wizz Air Pilot Academy Programme (WAPA)

Wizz Air presents a unique opportunity through its Pilot Academy Programme (WAPA), designed for a new generation of aspiring pilots with limited or no prior aviation experience. This high-quality pilot training initiative provides individuals with the pathway to obtain a Commercial Pilot's License, offering the prospective opportunity to work as a pilot for Wizz Air. Starting from foundational principles, the programme is conducted with the support of experienced flight schools and adheres strictly to Wizz Air's rigorous training standards.

Candidates interested in joining the Flight Crew team via the WAPA Programme are invited to review the application requirements below:

• Possess an unrestricted right to live and work within one of the following countries where Wizz Air operates an operational base: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Hungary, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, and Serbia.
• Hold a completed minimum high school degree or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• Demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Exhibit the ability to swim a distance of 50 meters without assistance.
