Job Summary:
The Pilot, Owner Services, provides on-site, expert flight support for Citation Latitude/CE 680 owners under the ProOwnership management agreement. This role entails residing within a commutable distance of the managed aircraft and executing daily flight operations including scheduling, trip planning, and meticulous aircraft care. The Pilot will collaborate closely with the Manager, ProOwnership Maintenance, ensuring consistent maintenance compliance and airworthiness. Additionally, the Pilot will liaise with the Manager, ProOwnership Operations to fulfill customer requests and maintain the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Elevates the ownership experience by providing in-depth expertise on Citation and King Air systems, avionics, and flight characteristics, consistently communicating product and ownership advantages during flight activities.
- Serves as a key liaison between the aircraft owner and Textron Aviation, ensuring all stakeholder concerns are addressed. Though employed by Textron Aviation, the pilot will operate under an agency agreement which defines operational control of the owner. The designated lead pilot will serve as the primary contact for the remotely based flight operation.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with the owner regarding Pilot-In-Command responsibilities, standards of safe operations, and efficient aircraft utilization methods.
- Demonstrates a proactive, solution-oriented approach, exploring all avenues to achieve successful resolution.
- Performs detailed preflight and post-flight inspections, diligently reporting mechanical or cosmetic discrepancies to the Maintenance Manager and relevant Service Center to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborates with the maintenance manager to ensure timely scheduling of required aircraft inspections, guaranteeing that aircraft meet MNPS/RVSM/RNP standards for all domestic and international travel needs.
- Works with the account manager to understand and provide input into the aircraft flight schedule. Continuously monitors flight activities, ensuring adherence to the operations manual, encompassing crew duty limits, rest requirements, runway lengths, and weather minimums. Ensures safety is the paramount consideration on every flight.
- Maintains thorough familiarity with all relevant FAA and ICAO regulations, complying with all operating procedures and standards.
- Guarantees up-to-date training and flight currency for all operational phases, informing the Chief Pilot or Manager, Aircraft Management of any impending expirations.
- Participates in mandatory training which includes initial and recurrent aircraft training, emergency procedures training, crew coordination training, international procedures training, and other training as mandated by management.
- Performs vital day-to-day department management functions, including maintaining aircraft flight logs, updating navigation equipment, obtaining required flight documentation, managing store room duties, and performing light aircraft cleaning.
- Coordinates vacation requests with the assigned account manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related Aerospace field is preferred. Equivalent industry experience (minimum of 3 years) may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to obtain a valid US passport.
- Ability to obtain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification, demonstrating piloting skills exceeding the minimum standards of the Practical Test Standards.
- FAA Flight Instructor Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3,000 Total Logged Flying Hours.
- Minimum of 1,000 Hours in Turbo Prop, Turbo Fan, or Turbo Jet Aircraft.
- International operating experience is preferred.
- Experience with Citation or King Air products preferred.
- Ability to consistently comply with customer insurance requirements.
