Job Summary

Textron Aviation seeks a professional Pilot to join its Flight Operations team. This role involves inspiring the journey of flight in iconic Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft by sharing expertise and product knowledge. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to design premium aviation experiences, conduct demonstration flights, represent the company at trade shows, provide transportation, and offer customer support.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate company and customer aircraft globally in compliance with FAA, ICAO, and local operating procedures.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft models, systems, avionics, equipment, and product updates.
  • Complete all required training, including initial/recurrent aircraft training, emergency procedures, crew coordination, and international procedures.
  • Execute administrative duties including expense reporting, flight log preparation, international planning, and manual/approach plate updates.
  • Conduct flights to support sales demonstrations and marketing objectives.
  • Adhere to Flight Operations policies and maintain clear communication regarding operational issues.
  • Prioritize safety in all operations and promote Textron Aviation products.
  • Demonstrate a solution-driven mindset while navigating complex operational environments.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Science or a related field preferred; or a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 2,000 total flight hours required.
  • Minimum of 500 turbine hours required.
  • International operating experience preferred.
  • Experience with Textron Aviation aircraft models preferred.
  • Minimum of 250 turbine PIC hours preferred.

Certifications and Requirements

  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating and Single/Multi-Engine Land ratings required (ATP preferred).
  • FAA Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI) required; FAA Multi-Engine Instructor Rating (MEI) and CFII preferred.
  • FAA Second Class medical or better required, with the ability to obtain an FAA First Class medical.
  • US Passport required, with the ability to obtain one if not already held.
  • Ability to travel globally without restriction is required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Familiarity with digital/glass flight decks preferred.
