Beechcraft 1900 Captain - Full-Time

Alpine Air is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced full-time Captains to join its distinguished flight operations team, specifically for the Beechcraft 1900 aircraft. Duties and Responsibilities

The selected Captain will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

• Operates aircraft in strict accordance with applicable aviation regulations and corporate policies and procedures.
• Prioritizes and practices exemplary safety standards and superior customer service.
• Maintains professional communication skills for complex internal and external aircraft communications.
• Conducts flight operations proficiently across day, night, and diverse weather conditions.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1200 hours total flight time, including specific experience in the Beechcraft 1900 (BE1900).
• Possession of Multi-Engine (ME), Instrument, and Commercial pilot ratings.

General Qualifications:

• Holds a valid FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Meets all Part 135 pilot requirements.
• Demonstrates the ability to successfully complete the company's comprehensive training program, exhibiting proficiency in all job requirements.
• Possesses a valid driver's license.
• Proficiently reads, writes, and comprehends the English language.
• Capable of regularly lifting and maneuvering up to 70 lbs of cargo to shoulder height, adhering to safe lifting methods.
• Ability to repeatedly bend and squat while performing duties.
• Exhibits excellent communication skills.
• Possesses flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma required; a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree is preferred.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, comprehensive background check, and obtain U.S. Postal clearance.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and must have resided in the U.S. for a minimum of 4.5 out of the past 5 years.

Working Conditions

The Captain will operate in a dynamic environment, frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, and heat. Work is predominantly performed outdoors, irrespective of prevailing weather conditions. The typical noise level in the work environment is moderate.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position offering a highly competitive compensation package. First-year Captains can typically expect to earn approximately $90,000 annually, augmented by various compensation programs such as rate per route and per diem allowances, with potential for higher earnings based on performance. Physical Requirements
