Professional Pilot Opportunities: Beech 1900 and BE99 Captains

Alpine Aviation, an established aviation leader since 1970 based in Provo, UT, is expanding flight operations in Denver, CO; Billings, MT; Sioux Falls, SD; and Salt Lake City, UT. The company currently seeks experienced Captains to join its team, supporting contracts with the United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS). Alpine is a participant in the UPS SFAC Pilot Mentorship Program and operates a fleet of 31 Beech 1900 and BE99 aircraft.

General Qualifications

  • Possess an FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • Meet all FAR Part 135 pilot requirements.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test, background check, and U.S. Postal clearance.

Flight Time Minimums

  • Beech 1900 B/C/D: 1500 hours Total Time; 200 hours Multi-Engine.
  • BE99: 1200 hours Total Time; 50 hours Multi-Engine.
  • BE99 First Officer Program: 900 hours Total Time; Multi-Engine Rating. This program allows pilots to serve as a First Officer until FAR 135 IFR Captain minimums are achieved at no cost to the pilot.

Compensation and Benefits

Alpine Aviation offers a competitive wage structure with automatic annual raises for up to 20 years of service. Compensation includes base pay, quarterly retention bonuses of $7,000, additional flight pay, and location-dependent per diem. Dual-qualified pilots receive Beech 1900 pay rates regardless of the aircraft flown.

  • BE99 Captains: Annual earnings starting upwards of $57,000.
  • Beech 1900 Captains: Annual earnings starting upwards of $72,000.

Operational Overview
