Airplane Pilot (31010) - Captain

Job Summary
Alpine Air is actively seeking experienced, full-time Captains to operate Beechcraft 1900 aircraft for our flight operations. The ideal candidate will exemplify our high standards for safety, piloting proficiency, crew resource management, and customer service. Strong professional interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft in strict adherence to all applicable regulations and corporate policies.
- Uphold a commitment to safety and exceptional customer service.
- Perform complex internal and external aircraft communications with professionalism.
- Conduct flights during day, night, and all weather conditions.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Beechcraft 1900 Type Rating.
- Minimum of 1200 total flight hours.
- Possession of Multi-Engine (ME), Instrument, and Commercial pilot ratings.
General Qualifications:
- Valid FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
- Meet all FAA Part 135 pilot requirements.
- Ability to successfully complete the company's training program and demonstrate proficiency in all job requirements.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 70 lbs of cargo to shoulder height.
- Ability to bend and squat repeatedly, practicing safe lifting techniques.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor of Science/Arts degree preferred.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. and have resided in the U.S. for at least 4.5 of the past 5 years.
Working Conditions
This position involves frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, and heat. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions. The typical noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time position. First-year pilots can expect to earn approximately $90,000 annually, with compensation structured through programs such as rate per route and per diem. Actual earnings may exceed this figure. The role includes competitive benefits, a 401(k) plan with employer match, generous Paid Time Off, and eight (8) paid holidays per year. Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance are available immediately upon employment.
