Alpine Air seeks an experienced and highly motivated full-time Captain to operate a Beechcraft 1900 based in Wichita, Kansas. The successful candidate will adhere to the highest standards of safety, piloting proficiency, crew resource management, and customer service. He or she will possess strong professional interpersonal skills and demonstrate a collaborative, team-oriented approach. The Captain reports to the Assistant Chief Pilot.
The Captain will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
This position requires frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, and heat. Work is primarily performed outdoors, regardless of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
This is a full-time position. First-year pilots can typically expect to earn more than $82,000 per year, utilizing compensation programs like rate per route, per diem, etc. Some Alpine Air pilots make substantially more than this figure. Compensation includes a competitive benefits package and a 401(k) plan with employer matching. Benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, as well as generous Paid Time Off and eight (8) paid holidays per year, are available immediately upon employment.
