Position Overview

Ameriflight is seeking a qualified Captain for the EMB-120 Brasilia based in Spokane, WA (GEG). This position features a structured flight schedule involving outstation operations with provided hotel accommodations. Training is currently projected to commence on July 6, 2026.

  • Compensation: Base salary of $97,091 annually, plus a $2,000 monthly taxable housing stipend for GEG-domiciled pilots.
  • Schedule: Weekly rotations involve Monday afternoon repositioning, Tuesday through Friday flight operations, and occasional weekend layovers.

Requirements

  • Must meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for Pilot-in-Command in IFR conditions.
  • Flight Experience: 3,000 hours Total Time (TT), 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC), 500 hours Cross Country (point-to-point), 500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbine, 200 hours Instrument (50 in aircraft), and 100 hours Night.
  • Previous FAR 121 or 135 experience required.
  • Valid Instrument Proficiency Check or 121/135 recurrent training completed within the past 6 months.
  • Commercial Pilot License (Multi-Engine Land) with Instrument Rating, High Performance, and Complex endorsements.
  • First Class Medical certificate and FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Current passport valid for at least six months beyond intended international travel (simulator training occurs at Flight Safety Paris Le Bourget).
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. and travel unrestricted internationally.
  • Ability to meet airport badging requirements, including a successful TSA security background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet all company insurance criteria.
