EMB-120 Captain - Spokane (GEG)

Ameriflight, LLC, the nation’s largest Part 135 cargo airline, is seeking a qualified EMB-120 Captain to join its flight operations team based in Spokane, Washington (GEG). Ameriflight provides critical, scalable aviation services to a diverse portfolio of cargo integrators, manufacturers, and freight forwarders. Operating a fleet of over 120 aircraft, the company maintains a reputation for reliability and excellence in the regional express airfreight market.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will serve as a Captain in the Embraer 120 Brasilia. The GEG-based schedule involves repositioning to outstations on Monday afternoons, with Tuesday through Friday departures from GEG in the morning and returns in the evening. One flight concludes on Friday evening, while the second includes a Friday night layover in Seattle, returning to GEG on Saturday morning. Lodging is provided at all outstations.

  • Compensation: $97,091 annual base salary.
  • Stipend: Eligible for a $2,000 monthly taxable housing stipend.
  • Training Start Date: Projected for July 6, 2026.

Requirements

  • Must meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for Pilot in Command (PIC) in IFR conditions.
  • Flight Experience: 3,000 hours Total Time (TT), 1,000 hours PIC, 500 hours cross-country (point-to-point), 500 hours multi-engine, 500 hours turbine, 200 hours instrument (50 in aircraft), and 100 hours night flight.
  • Previous FAR 121 or 135 operational experience.
  • Completion of an Instrument Proficiency Check or 121/135 recurrent training within the past 6 months.
  • Valid Commercial Pilot License (Multi-Engine Land) with Instrument Rating, High Performance, and Complex endorsements.
  • First Class Medical Certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Valid Passport (valid for at least six months beyond intended departure date for simulator training in Paris, France).
  • English proficiency.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction.
  • Ability to meet airport badging requirements and pass a TSA security background check.
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to meet company insurance criteria.
