Role Overview
As a Quick Upgrade Captain, the successful candidate will operate aircraft safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations while providing exceptional service. This role involves a typical schedule of 3-5 flight legs per day over 14-16 days per month, with a priority on returning to base daily. The position offers a defined pathway to Captain, providing the opportunity for rapid career progression.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough pre-flight preparation, including review of maintenance status, NOTAMs, fuel loads, weather, and routing via Traxxall.

Collaborate with flight crew to establish departure and arrival strategies.

Perform all required pre-flight checks and safety procedures.

Operate the aircraft in full compliance with FAA regulations, JSX SOPs, and industry safety standards.

Maintain clear communication with Mission Control, Ground Operations, ATC, and Flight Attendants.

Support quick-turn operations, including light cabin tidying and baggage handling as necessary.

Participate in ongoing recurrent training and performance evaluations.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum 2,500 fixed-wing total flight hours.

Minimum 500 multi-engine hours and 500 turbine hours.

Minimum 100 flight hours within the last 12 months.

Clean safety record: No FAA violations, accidents, incidents, or suspensions; no significant training or check ride failures.

Valid FAA Pilot Certificate appropriate to the position.

Current and valid ATP or Commercial Multi-Engine Certificate.

Current and valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Current and valid FCC Radio Operator’s Permit.

Current and valid Driver’s License and Passport.
Preferred Qualifications

3,000+ total flight hours.

1,000+ multi-engine hours.
-
Previous experience with Embraer 135/145 aircraft.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation:
$150.00 daily during training; $259.00 daily on the line, plus per diem. 14-day minimum monthly salary guarantee.

Productivity pay, quarterly bonuses, and additional incentive pay for extra duty days or hours.
