Empire Airlines seeks an experienced ATR Captain for a full-time, home-base position. This role involves conducting safe, efficient, and professional flight services, ensuring compliance with all regulations while operating as a Part-121 Captain.

About the Role

The ATR Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft during all flight phases, monitoring flight conditions, cargo safety, and fuel requirements. This position demands strong leadership, ensuring effective communication with all relevant parties, and maintaining thorough knowledge of company policies, procedures, and aviation regulations. The Captain will also supervise staff and act as a positive role model within the company.

Requirements

• ATP certificate with Multi-Engine Land (MEL) rating.
• Valid 1st class medical certificate.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Adherence to the company’s FAA/DOT required Drug and Alcohol Program.
• Minimum flight experience:
  • 2500 hours Total Time (TT).
  • 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • 1000 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL).
  • 300 hours turbine/turboprop.
  • 500 hours crew time.
• Part 121.436 Pilot Qualification.
• Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) currency and proficiency.

Working Conditions

• Work performed outdoors and in an aircraft, with exposure to inclement weather.
• May involve extended periods of standing, walking, sitting, bending, and stooping.
• Potential requirement to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Requires manual dexterity, speaking, seeing, and hearing.
• May require working in multiple locations.

Home-Base Policy & Compensation

Home-base pilots designate an approved airport for duty assignments, with specific requirements for hub connectivity. The company provides parking at the approved home base. Compensation includes a starting pay range of $2,500 - $2,602 weekly ($130,000 - $135,280 annually).
