Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Gulfstream G450 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in full accordance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Execute thorough pre-flight inspections and review the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to departure.
• Perform comprehensive checks of weather conditions and facilities for the planned route, including alternate airports.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew throughout all flight operations.
• Accurately complete all required trip paperwork in compliance with current operational procedures.

Minimum Pilot Qualifications

• Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
• Turbojet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Essential Requirements

• Current Type Rating on the Gulfstream G450 (G450) or a comparable aircraft type.
• Possession of a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• Ability to operate on an on-call basis to meet dynamic scheduling demands.
• Commitment to completing annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive from South Bend International Airport (KSBN) or willingness to relocate.
