Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G450 Captain to be based at KCMA airport in Camarillo, California. This role is instrumental in ensuring the safe and professional transportation of clients, upholding Solairus Aviation's commitment to safety, service, integrity, teamwork, and operational excellence.

About the Role

The Gulfstream G450 Captain will assume responsibility for the safe operation of the aircraft, conducting all flights with prudence and adherence to established protocols. Key duties include meticulous review of aircraft maintenance status, execution of thorough pre-flight inspections as per the Aircraft Flight Manual, and comprehensive assessment of weather conditions, flight facilities, route specifics, and destination and alternate airport suitability. The Captain will operate in strict accordance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, prioritizing the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew. Accurate completion of all trip-related documentation is also a core responsibility.

Requirements

• Minimum 3,000 hours of total flight time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
• Minimum 1,500 hours of multi-engine (MEL) experience.
• Minimum 500 hours of MEL PIC experience.
• Minimum 500 hours of turbojet flight time.
• Minimum 250 hours of instrument flight time.
• Must hold a Gulfstream G450 type rating or a type rating on a comparable aircraft.
• Must possess a current first-class medical certificate.
• Must be available for on-call duty.
• Annual completion of ICAO International procedures training is required.
• Must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KCMA or demonstrate willingness to relocate.
