Solairus Aviation is recruiting a full-time Gulfstream G450 Captain for a corporate flight operation based at South Bend International Airport (KSBN) in Indiana. The Captain will command the G450, ensuring the highest standards of safety, service, and integrity while operating on client trips.

About the Role

The Gulfstream G450 Captain will be responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft. Key duties include comprehensive pre-flight inspections, meticulous review of aircraft maintenance status, thorough analysis of weather and airport conditions, and adherence to Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations. The Captain will also ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew, and accurately complete all required trip documentation.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time.
• At least 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
• A minimum of 1,500 hours of multi-engine land (MEL) experience.
• A minimum of 500 hours of multi-engine land PIC time.
• A minimum of 500 hours of turbojet aircraft experience.
• A minimum of 250 hours of instrument time.
• Candidates must possess a type rating for the Gulfstream G450 or a comparable aircraft.
• A valid First Class medical certificate is required.
• The ability to work on an on-call basis is essential.
• Annual completion of ICAO International procedures training is mandatory.
• Must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of South Bend International Airport (KSBN) or demonstrate a willingness to relocate.
