Jet Excellence, a fast-growing Part 135 charter operator headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a Citation X Captain (PIC) to join their flight crew. This remote position involves operating CE-750 aircraft for charter missions, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional passenger service.
The Citation X Captain (PIC) is the final authority for the safe, legal, and secure operation of the aircraft, crew, passengers, and cargo. This role is responsible for ensuring all Part 135 charter flights are conducted in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and the company’s General Operations Manual (GOM). Key responsibilities include flight planning, adherence to weather minimums, operational control, crew compliance with duty limitations, Crew Resource Management (CRM), threat and error management, and emergency procedures.
This is a home-based position with a rotating schedule (8/6 or 15/13). Pilots must reside in the domestic United States within one hour of a major airport and be available for travel as required for flight assignments and operational support.
Compensation includes a base salary, fully paid health, dental, and vision insurance for the employee, Paid Time Off (PTO), a 401k plan with matching, per diem, and extra day pay for additional flight days.
