Position Summary
Vantage Aviation seeks a highly skilled and safety-focused Hawker 900XP Pilot. This pivotal role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, ensuring strict adherence to all FAA regulations, company procedures, and the highest standards of customer service. The successful candidate will demonstrate proactive teamwork, a commitment to operational excellence, and unwavering professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts safe and efficient flight operations in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Participates in all pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties, including flight planning, weather analysis, and aircraft inspections.
- Ensures the aircraft is airworthy and appropriately equipped for each mission, including meticulous fuel planning and weight/balance calculations.
- Communicates effectively with air traffic control and ground personnel throughout the duration of each flight.
- Maintains accurate flight logs, reports, and records as required.
- Provides exceptional service to passengers, ensuring their comfort, safety, and discretion at all times.
- Works in close coordination with the co-pilot (if applicable), maintenance, and operations teams to support flight readiness.
- Remains current and qualified in all required aircraft systems, regulations, and procedures through regular training and recurrent checks.
Qualifications
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP).
- Current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Type Rating in Hawker 900XP (preferred) or willingness to obtain through company-sponsored training.
Minimum Flight Experience:
- 3,000 total flight hours.
- 1,500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC).
- 1,000 hours multi-engine turbine.
- Experience in Part 91 and/or Part 135 operations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, airspace procedures, and safety protocols.
- Valid U.S. passport and unrestricted ability to travel internationally.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and discretion, particularly when working with high-net-worth individuals or sensitive operations.
Working Conditions
- Requires frequent travel, including overnight and international trips.
- Must be available for on-call duty, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Capable of lifting and loading baggage or equipment.
- Involves extended periods in an aircraft cockpit environment.
