First Officer, Gulfstream G700
Clay Lacy Aviation, a globally recognized leader in private jet services, is actively seeking a highly qualified and motivated First Officer to join its esteemed flight operations team. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to serve as First Officer on a brand-new Gulfstream G700 aircraft. The position is strategically based in Oxford, CT (OXC), and will support dynamic Part 91 and Part 135 operations, with an estimated annual flight time of approximately 400 hours.
Position Summary
The First Officer will be an integral part of the flight crew, responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional conduct of all assigned flights. While a current Gulfstream G700 type rating is preferred, Clay Lacy Aviation encourages highly qualified candidates with extensive large cabin aircraft experience to apply, as their strong credentials will be carefully considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Gulfstream G700 safely and efficiently in accordance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company operations manuals, operations specifications, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the Captain and other crew members to ensure seamless flight execution and superior passenger experience.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, situational awareness, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties diligently, ensuring all necessary checks and documentation are completed accurately.
- Be prepared for unrestricted international travel to various destinations, including all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned to support the operational needs of Clay Lacy Aviation.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates for the First Officer position must meet the following essential qualifications:
- A minimum of 2,000 hours total flight time is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates possessing at least 1,000 hours of turbine time.
- An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is highly preferred.
- A current Gulfstream G700 type rating is preferred; however, individuals with strong qualifications and significant large cabin experience will be considered.
- Must reside within a two-hour drivable commute distance of Oxford, CT, or be willing to relocate to meet this residency requirement. This is explicitly not a commutable position.
- Demonstrated unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Proven ability to comply strictly with all Federal Aviation Regulations, company operations manuals, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and all company policies and procedures.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment DOT/FAA drug screening and comprehensive background checks, and be subject to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- As part of the application process, candidates will be required to provide full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including their Medical Certificate, and complete all necessary disclosure forms.
