Job Summary

The Sales Support Pilot plays a critical role in supporting regional sales initiatives by expertly planning and executing product demonstrations and providing comprehensive event support. This position collaborates closely with Regional Sales Directors to cultivate and expand their territories. The role requires extensive travel to support these strategic sales activities across assigned regions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Market Prospecting: Identify and qualify retail, vertical, and emerging market prospects through diligent research into their needs, financial standing, and key personnel.
  • Sales Enablement: Leverage Cirrus Marketing's technical sales and promotional resources effectively to prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations on Cirrus products.
  • Event Management: Plan, organize, and execute a diverse range of events and promotional activities throughout the assigned region, aligning event concepts and themes with organizational objectives.
  • Territory Development: Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors to identify underdeveloped areas and strategic growth opportunities, informing event strategies based on territory health and business plans.
  • Product Demonstration: Coordinate and execute impactful product demonstrations, ensuring clear and engaging communication to prospective clients.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze event performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for future initiatives through detailed post-event reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing.
  • Valid FAA Commercial Pilot Instrument Certificate and a current second-class medical certificate are mandatory; a Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) rating is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of prior sales or marketing experience is desired.
  • Proficiency in advanced MS Office Suite and general computer software and internet navigation.
  • An outgoing personality with a proven ability to develop strong relationships; adept at engaging with diverse individuals.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

The selected candidate will be expected to work beyond standard 40-hour weeks as needed. Extensive travel is a requirement for this position.
