Driscoll's seeks an experienced Corporate Pilot to join their aviation team in Watsonville, California. This full-time position involves ensuring safe and efficient flight operations, contributing to problem-solving, and maintaining aircraft readiness, primarily operating King Air 350 aircraft. The role requires extensive IFR experience and strong airmanship for operations at various airports, including those with short and unimproved runways.
About the Role

Assisting in solving complex problems and developing innovative solutions for aviation operations.

Communicating regularly with Assistant Chief Pilots to address operational issues.

Ensuring compliance with government, industry, and company safety and operational requirements.

Reporting flight operations safety issues and hazards to the Chief Pilot via the Safety Management System.

Completing preflight planning and preparation duties.

Verifying aircraft, weather, flight plan, and airport facility requirements.

Ensuring required aircraft certificates and manuals are onboard.

Maintaining current knowledge of and adherence to Part 91 & Part 135 regulations, FAR Part 61, Standard Operating Procedures, and FAA Advisory Circular material.

Attending ground and simulator training to maintain proficiency and knowledge.

Maintaining current required licenses and certificates.

Assisting with baggage loading/unloading and passenger needs.

Contributing to people priorities and objectives related to leadership effectiveness and employee engagement.

Requiring up to 90% domestic and international travel.

Representing Driscoll's in a professional and ethical manner.
Requirements

Commercial Multi-Engine Land license; Airline Transport Pilot license preferred.

FAA First Class Medical certificate.

King Air 300/350 type rating preferred.

Valid CA Driver's License or plan to convert.

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience.

2,000 hours of total logged flight experience.

1,500 hours Pilot In Command time.

500 hours in Jet or Turboprop aircraft.

200 hours in type preferred.

High School diploma required; two years of college or technical training preferred.

Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
