Job Summary
MINCA is seeking an experienced Pilot III to join its flight department. The Pilot III will prioritize safety in the operation of company aircraft and associated tasks, adhering strictly to the company's Flight Operations Manual (FOM) under all flight conditions. This role reports directly to the Chief Pilot.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct all flights with paramount attention to the safety of crew, passengers, cargo, and equipment.
- Deliver exceptional, world-class customer service to all passengers.
- Maintain all currency requirements as stipulated by Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and comply with all applicable regulations.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in the company Flight Operations Manual (FOM).
- Ensure the airworthiness of assigned aircraft and verify the presence of all required documentation.
- Confirm that all crewmembers possess valid airmen certificates, medical certificates, passports, visas, and necessary vaccinations.
- Provide leadership and supervision to all flight crews, and assist other personnel as needed.
- Conduct and oversee training for crewmembers on general operating procedures as required by the FOM.
- Counsel crewmembers as necessary and report any safety-affecting abnormalities to the Chief Pilot.
- Assume the Lead Pilot role on at least one company aircraft.
- Supervise assigned crewmembers during preflight, en-route, and post-flight operations.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding the flight, ensuring their needs are met and appropriate briefings are provided.
- Ensure compliance with customs, immigration, and sabotage laws.
- Verify the presence and proper securing of emergency equipment (e.g., life rafts, life vests) and provisions for passenger comfort, and ensure all cargo is properly secured.
- Confirm aircraft release for service by maintenance staff and ensure all open discrepancies are cleared per the Minimum Equipment List (MEL).
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to resolve any aircraft maintenance issues.
- Ensure aircraft are properly secured when away from the home base.
- Conduct pre-trip briefings and/or reviews with crewmembers, covering flight plans, routes, weather, NOTAMs, and other trip details.
- Comply with assigned schedules and directives governing aircraft operations.
- Verify that flight crew members are adequately rested, nourished, and in proper uniform.
- Ensure all flight planning requirements are met, preparing flight plans considering altitude, terrain, weather, range, weight, cruise control data, airport facilities, and navigational aids.
- Ensure a flight plan or authorized flight locating procedure is followed on each flight and reported to the Aviation Scheduler.
- Make decisions regarding the start, delay, or cancellation of flights, or deviations from planned destinations based on operating conditions, notifying the Aviation Scheduler of any changes.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience flying corporate aircraft.
- Minimum of 4,000 flight hours total time.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours in multi-engine aircraft.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours in turbojet aircraft (500 hours in-type preferred).
- International Experience (Preferred).
- Owner Operator, Mentoring pilot experience (Preferred).
- CE525 type rating (CJ4 Preferred).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with AS/MEL and Instrument ratings.
- Type rating in company aircraft.
- Completed manufacturer's approved initial training programs in company aircraft.
- Completed a minimum of two recurrent training courses.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Working Hours
This is an exempt-level position requiring work hours necessary to fully accomplish job responsibilities and meet deadlines. Flexibility is required for work beyond traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Work hours may be adjusted to meet business needs. Core business hours vary based on flight schedules.
Travel
This position requires up to 25% domestic and international travel. A valid passport and the ability to depart the United States are mandatory.
Compensation
$177,942 - $247,624 - $317,305
