Job Summary
MINCA seeks a skilled and safety-conscious Pilot III to join its flight department. The Pilot III will prioritize safety in operating company aircraft and performing other assigned duties, adhering to the company's Flight Operations Manual under all conditions. This role reports to the Chief Pilot.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct all flights with the highest regard for the safety of crew, passengers, cargo, and equipment.

Provide excellent customer service to all passengers.

Maintain all required currency as per Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and comply with all applicable regulations.

Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in the company Flight Operations Manual (FOM).

Ensure aircraft airworthiness and the presence of all required documentation.

Verify that crewmembers possess valid airmen certificates, medical certificates, passports, visas, and vaccinations as required.

Provide leadership and supervision to flight crews, and assist others in their duties.

Conduct and supervise crewmember training on general operating procedures as per the FOM.

Counsel crewmembers as needed and report any safety-affecting abnormalities to the Chief Pilot.

Assume the Lead Pilot role on at least one company aircraft.

Supervise assigned crewmembers during pre-flight, en-route, and post-flight operations.

Communicate with passengers regarding the flight, ensuring their needs are met and they receive necessary briefings.

Ensure compliance with customs, immigration, and sabotage laws.

Verify the presence of emergency equipment (e.g., life rafts, life vests) and provisions for passenger comfort, and ensure cargo is properly secured.

Confirm that the aircraft has been released for service by maintenance and that all open discrepancies are cleared per the Minimum Equipment List.

Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any aircraft maintenance issues.

Ensure the aircraft is properly secured when away from the home base.

Conduct pre-trip briefings and reviews with crewmembers, covering flight plans, routes, weather, NOTAMs, and trip details.

Comply with assigned schedules and directives governing aircraft operations.

Ensure the flight crew is adequately rested, nourished, and properly uniformed.

Meet all flight planning requirements, preparing flight plans considering factors such as altitude, terrain, weather, range, weight, cruise control data, airport facilities, and navigational aids.

Follow a flight plan or authorized flight locating procedure on each flight, reporting to the Aviation Scheduler.

Make necessary decisions regarding flight commencement, delay, cancellation, or destination deviation based on operating conditions, and notify the Aviation Scheduler of any changes.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience flying corporate aircraft.

Minimum of 4,000 flight hours total time.

Minimum of 2,000 hours in multi-engine aircraft.

Minimum of 1000 hours in turbojet aircraft (500 hours in-type preferred).

International Experience (Preferred).
-
Owner Operator, Mentoring pilot experience (Preferred).
-
CE525 type rating (CJ4 Preferred).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, with AS/MEL and Instrument ratings.

Type rating in company aircraft.
-
Completion of manufacturer's approved initial training programs in company aircraft and a minimum of two recurrent training courses.

FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Working Hours
This is an exempt level position requiring the incumbent to work the hours necessary to fully accomplish job responsibilities and reasonably meet deadlines. Typical core business hours vary based on the flight schedule.
Travel
This position requires domestic and international travel of up to 25%. A valid passport and the ability to leave the United States are required.
Compensation
$177,942 - $247,624 - $317,305
