Overview
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate aviator to join a leading team as a Flight Instructor. The Flight Instructor is responsible for delivering industry-leading, learner-centric flight training to customers, utilizing a structured syllabus and proprietary course materials to facilitate a streamlined and effective learning process.
Key Responsibilities
The Flight Instructor's duties encompass a range of instructional and operational tasks, including but not limited to:
- Providing high-quality flight and ground instruction in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Adhering strictly to all industry and company safety procedures and policies.
- Maintaining meticulous and accurate records of all training activities and student progression.
- Assessing pilot performance across psychomotor, cognitive, and affective domains during each training event.
- Customizing training events to effectively meet the unique needs of individual students.
- Identifying and communicating student progression, potential challenges, and opportunities for advancement.
- Acting as Pilot in Command for various Part 91 corporate flight operations, such as demonstration flights, repositioning, post-maintenance checks, ferry flights, and internal training flights, as required.
- Conducting flight reviews, proficiency checks, and other related pilot and instructor duties.
- Performing essential pre-flight and post-flight tasks, including inspections, cleaning, fueling, adding fluids, and updating navigation data.
- Engaging in continuous learning to maintain mastery of subject matter, including the latest developments in aircraft products.
- Serving as a model aviator, flight instructor, and company representative, processing and maintaining deep aircraft knowledge.
- Maintaining effective communication with students before and after training events.
- Contributing to enhanced flight safety through excellent, standardized instruction.
- Participating in safety management processes, flight planning, and preparation.
- Planning and preparing comprehensive lessons.
- Solving complex problems encountered during training and operations.
- Identifying and recommending process improvements.

Qualifications
To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, a candidate must possess the following qualifications and demonstrate specific competencies:
- A current FAA Flight Instructor Certificate with Airplane Single Engine and Instrument Airplane ratings.
- A current FAA Pilot Certificate with Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land and Instrument Airplane ratings.
- A current Second-class Airman Medical Certificate or higher.
- A minimum of 350 total instruction hours or 250 Cirrus instruction hours is required.
- Experience with IFR in congested airspace, mountain flying, extensive IMC, international flight, and night operations is preferred.
