Part-Time Flight Attendant - TPA Crew Base
Breeze Airways is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Part-Time Flight Attendant to join its TPA Crew Base. Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences by warmly welcoming guests, assisting with seating and luggage, and providing requested information.
- Maintain a positive and empathetic demeanor, ensuring guests feel valued and appreciated.
- Uphold a safe work environment for both guests and team members.
- Effectively manage high-stress situations and maintain composure under pressure.
- Collaborate and communicate respectfully with team members.
- Monitor the cabin regularly, remaining approachable and accommodating.
- Adapt to schedule changes due to operational, weather-related, or unforeseen delays.
- Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements.
- Demonstrate punctuality, timeliness, and proactive behavior.
- Adhere to professional appearance and etiquette guidelines.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Utilize and explain Breeze's inflight technology.
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages (including alcohol) while adhering to the highest hygiene standards.
- Maintain cabin cleanliness and galley organization.
- Provide safety instructions, including emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Administer first aid and medical care, if required.
- Conduct security screenings.
- Complete Autism Awareness Training.
- Adhere to FAA and DOT travel regulations.
- Achieve performance measures and uphold Breeze Aviation Group's values.
Job Details:
- Monthly Guarantee: 37.5 flying hours per month.
- Base: TPA (Tampa International Airport). Must live within a two-hour driving distance.
- Competitive pay rates based on years of service:
- 1 month - 6 months: $25/hour
- 6 months - 1 year: $27/hour
- Year 2: $28.50/hour
- Year 3: $30/hour
- Year 4: $31.50/hour
- Year 5: $33.00/hour
- Year 6: $34.50/hour
- Year 7: $36/hour
- Year 8: $37.50/hour
- Initial issuance of luggage and uniform paid by Breeze.
- Paid training provided.
- Eligible for 401K benefits after 90 days of employment.
- Travel benefits on the Breeze network after 30 days of employment.
- Travel benefits on other airlines after six months of employment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Able to work seasonal duties at SRQ (Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport)
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must meet specific height requirements to access emergency equipment and have adequate head clearance.
- Ability to sit and buckle into the E190, E195 and A220 Flight Attendant jumpseat.
- Neat, well-groomed appearance.
- Service-oriented mindset.
- Adherence to the highest hygiene standards as outlined by the CDC.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
- Ability to pass vision and hearing tests.
- Successful completion of security screening training.
- Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and a TSA-required criminal history records check.
- Legal right to work and travel without restrictions to/from the United States.
- Valid Passport with a minimum of six (6) months remaining prior to expiration.
- Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Willingness to relocate based on operational needs, if applicable.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
- Ability to report for work in the assigned base for assigned trips.
- Ability to work "Reserve Assignment" in the assigned base.
