Purpose:
This role will be responsible for ensuring cabin safety, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service to our passengers while engaged in 14 CFR Part 135 flight operations. Flight operations begin with preflight/pre-boarding checks and extend through boarding, surface movement, inflight, and post-flight checks after all passengers have deplaned.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Performance of aircraft cabin pre/post-flight safety inspections.

Pre-boarding passenger identification verification in accordance with TSA requirements.

Passenger boarding and seating, including identification of able-bodied passengers (ABPs).

Assistance with gathering, weighing, and loading/unloading of passenger baggage.

Securing of all doors, carts, and galley items prior to aircraft surface movement, takeoff, and landing.

Deliver passenger safety briefings and demonstrate location and proper use of passenger safety equipment, including emergency exits, use of personal flotation devices, oxygen masks, and seat belts.

Ensure passengers seated in exit row seats are fit, willing, and able to perform those functions required by the company approved exit row seating program.

Deliver inflight passenger services to include beverages and snacks, as applicable.

Inventory drinks, snacks, and other cabin service supplies before and after each flight.

Advise and enforce safety instructions for all passengers.

Perform abnormal and emergencies procedures as required.

Perform cleaning, inventory, and stocking of assigned aircraft.
Required Qualifications:

Must have a valid U.S. Passport

Must be legal to work within the United States and be able to travel in and out of the country without restrictions

Must be capable of providing own ground transportation to/from your domicile/base airport

Must be able to work nights, holidays, and weekends

Must be safety and customer service oriented

Must be fluent in both the Spanish and English languages

Must be able to successfully complete a background check and both pre-employment and ongoing random drug and alcohol screening tests

Must live or relocate within 1 hours drive time to the San Marcos Regional Airport, San Marcos, Texas

Must have excellent customer service skills, an enthusiastic outgoing personality, and be an excellent team player
Required Experience and Education:
-
Previous part 135, 121, or 91 flight attendant experience

High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:

Undergraduate Degree

Flight Attendant Certificate of demonstrated proficiency in either Group I or Group II aircraft, or both.
Physical requirements of the job:

Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 Lbs.

Must be willing and able to perform flight duty for up to 14 hours per day. Note: under regulatory exceptions, duty periods may exceed 14 hours, up to, but not exceeding 16 hours.

Must be able to sit, stand, and walk inside an aircraft for periods of up to 4 hours or longer.

Be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions while working outside including, but not limited to, extreme heat, cold and adverse weather conditions.
