First Officer - Cargo Airline
Ameriflight, LLC, the nation's largest Part 135 Cargo airline, is seeking a qualified and motivated First Officer to join its dynamic team. As the leader in scalable, outsourced aviation services to the regional express airfreight market, Ameriflight offers a diverse portfolio of services to major cargo integrators, manufacturers, aircraft operators, and freight forwarders. This allows them to adapt to the evolving demands of the modern air cargo supply chain. The airline operates a fleet of over 150 dedicated cargo aircraft, including Saab 340B, Embraer 120, Fairchild SA227, Beechcraft 1900, and Beechcraft 99 aircraft, from bases across the United States.
This First Officer position involves flying the SA227, EMB-120, or Saab 340, depending on qualifications and company needs. The initial domicile will be determined prior to release from training. First Officer positions have a 6-month domicile/position lock, after which the pilot may bid on other domiciles. The base for this position is To Be Determined, and candidates must be willing to relocate to any of Ameriflight's bases.
Requirements:
- 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- 300 hours cross-country (point to point).
- 100 hours night flight time.
- 75 hours instrument time (50 hours must be in aircraft).
- 25 hours multi-engine time.
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) rating with at least 300 hours dual given is preferred.
- Instrument Proficiency Check within the past 6 months.
- Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine land and instrument rating, high performance, and complex endorsements.
- First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate (First Class required for international operations).
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Must meet airport badging requirements, including a TSA Security background check.
- Valid Driver’s License and meet all company insurance criteria.
- Current Passport.
- English Proficient.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and travel unrestricted in and out of the U.S.
