Position Summary

The Instructor Pilot (TH-1H) will serve a critical role in training the next generation of United States Air Force (USAF) vertical-lift aviators. These aviators are responsible for diverse and demanding missions, utilizing sophisticated aircraft such as the MH-139 Grey Wolf and the CV-22 Osprey. All USAF helicopter pilots commence their careers at the 23d Flying Training Squadron (FTS) at Fort Rucker, Alabama, where Amentum is an integrated partner. This position involves delivering comprehensive instruction in academics, simulations, and flight training for contact, instrument, and remote operations, specifically within the TH-1H Huey II helicopter platform. The program is renowned for its rigorous standards and an unprecedented safety record.
