Job Overview

Amentum is seeking highly qualified and experienced aviation professionals for a dynamic and critical role as an Instructor Pilot (TH-1H) at Fort Rucker, Alabama. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the foundational training of the next generation of U.S. Air Force vertical-lift aviators.

The successful candidate will serve as an integral part of Amentum's team, working in close partnership with the U.S. Air Force's 23d Flying Training Squadron (FTS). The 23d FTS stands as the USAF's premier helicopter flying training unit, dedicated to preparing pilots for demanding missions across Combat Rescue, Special Operations, and Global Strike. Instructor Pilots will deliver comprehensive flight instruction, encompassing academics, simulations, and rigorous flight training for contact, instruments, and remote operations in the TH-1H Huey II helicopter.

This initiative highlights Amentum's commitment as a leading multi-service contractor, supporting vital Department of Defense mission-critical technical and management assignments in collaboration with the Air Force and Army, both domestically and internationally.
