Role Overview and Key Responsibilities
The Second in Command performs an essential function in the commercial transport of passengers, mail, freight, and other specialized cargo. The incumbent is responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and reliable flight operations across all scheduled routes.
- Operates meticulously as the Second in Command for the safe transport of passengers, mail, freight, or other designated commercial purposes.
- Ensures stringent compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), official Company Flight Procedures, and internal Company Policies throughout all phases of flight.
- Maintains absolute operational safety and integrity while adhering to rigorous standards on scheduled flights and routes.
Minimum Qualifications and Flight Experience
Candidates must demonstrate a proven record of professional aviation experience and must meet the following minimum documented requirements:
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of verifiable total documented flight time.
- Must possess and maintain a current First Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 500 hours of fixed-wing turbine time, encompassing both airplane and powered-lift classifications.
