Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, coupled with two to five years of related experience or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Operation and Safety Requirements:

As a crucial member of the Flight Crew, this position requires maintaining a weight not to exceed 250 pounds and candidates must be under the age of seventy (70).

Skills:

This role necessitates maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, and the public. The individual must strive to uphold a friendly and professional working environment. Furthermore, pilots must have recent flight experience in their category within the previous 24 months.

Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) Program:

Candidates must demonstrate the following flight hour experience:

  • 2500 total flight hours with a minimum of 2000 hours in category
  • 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in category
  • 500 hours of cross-country flight time
  • 100 hours of night flight time
  • 100 hours of flight in actual instrument conditions in category

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

The successful candidate must possess the following credentials:

  • Instrument rating (for category and class of aircraft); an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating in the relevant category meets this requirement.
  • Fixed-wing multiengine rating for twin-engine aircraft.
  • FAA Commercial Single Engine Land certification.
  • First Class or Second Class FAA Medical certificate.
