Pilot in Command (PIC)
The Pilot in Command holds direct responsibility for overseeing the safe and efficient transport of all crew members, patients, and other individuals aboard the Pilatus PC-12 fixed-wing aircraft during air ambulance operations. This critical role requires ensuring strict compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and company General Operations Manual (GOM) procedures on every mission.
Required Qualifications:
- Commercial Single-Engine Land (ASEL) and Multi-Engine Land (AMEL) Certification.
- Instrument Rating.
- A current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate.
- A valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Must meet or exceed FAA Part 135 Minimum Flight Experience requirements for Pilot in Command IFR Operations.
- A minimum of 50 hours of documented flight experience in the Pilatus PC-12 aircraft is mandatory.
