Pilot in Command (PIC) - Air Ambulance (Pilatus PC-12)
A leading aviation organization is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pilot in Command (PIC) to join its critical air ambulance operations. This pivotal role involves the direct oversight and responsibility for the safe and efficient transport of essential crew members, patients, and other designated personnel utilizing state-of-the-art Pilatus PC-12 fixed-wing aircraft. The successful candidate will uphold the highest standards of aviation safety and regulatory compliance, ensuring the integrity and success of all missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Pilot in Command, bearing ultimate responsibility for the safe and efficient execution of all air ambulance missions.
- Ensure the secure and timely transport of crew members, patients, and designated personnel aboard Pilatus PC-12 aircraft.
- Rigorously adhere to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM) guidelines, and company-specific General Operations Manual (GOM) procedures.
- Perform comprehensive pre-flight planning, in-flight operations, and post-flight duties with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established protocols.
- Exercise sound judgment and professional decision-making to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of all individuals on board and the aircraft.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate exceptional proficiency and possess the following credentials to be considered for this vital role:
- Possession of both Commercial Single-Engine Land (ASEL) and Multi-Engine Land (AMEL) Certifications.
- A valid Instrument Rating.
- A current FAA First-Class or Second-Class Medical Certificate.
- A valid Driver’s License with a consistently acceptable driving record.
- Documented flight experience meeting all FAA Part 135 Minimum Flight Experience requirements for Pilot in Command (PIC) IFR Operations.
- A mandatory minimum of 50 hours of flight experience specifically in a Pilatus PC-12 aircraft.
