This vital role, based in the United States, encompasses comprehensive flight operations, pre-flight planning, and post-flight responsibilities, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of personnel.

About the Role

As a Pilot at Crown Equipment Corporation, you will be responsible for a wide range of aviation duties, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Gulfstream aircraft. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating Gulfstream aircraft, ensuring safe and efficient flight execution.
  • Conducting thorough pre-flight activities, including fuel budgeting, determining fuel requirements, and checking prevailing weather conditions.
  • Coordinating all landing requirements with destination airports and adhering to international customs regulations for international flights.
  • Selecting optimal flight routes.
  • Providing support as an aircraft technician and assisting with aircraft repairs both on location and within the home hangar.
  • Performing detailed pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
  • Assisting with post-flight aircraft cleaning.
  • Maintaining accurate aircraft logbooks, scheduling part-time pilots, managing international paperwork, and ensuring renewal of crew overseas flight cards and passports.
  • Updating avionics equipment as required.
  • Arranging ground transportation for passengers.
  • Successfully completing annual flight tests, medical examinations, and recurrent training to maintain necessary licenses and safety certifications.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this Pilot position, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least five (5) years of related aviation experience.
  • Possession of an Airline Transport Certificate (ATC).
  • Ability to meet the demands of an "on-call" schedule and "extended duty times."
  • Demonstrated managerial, communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
  • Minimum of 2,000 hours of total flying experience.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
  • Willingness and ability to undertake extensive travel and overnight stays (exceeding 20%).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; Crown Equipment Corporation will not provide sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates possessing the following qualifications will be given preferential consideration:

  • Minimum of 1,000 hours of flight experience in type (Gulfstream aircraft).
  • Demonstrated international flying experience.
  • Associate degree in aviation.
